Product update: reusable video editing workflows
Chain Cut, Hue, Echo and Flow into one saved video editing workflow and reuse it.

Most teams repeat the same sequence on every video: rough cut, grade, sound, titles, export. As of this release, that sequence can be saved. Workflows chain Kaviyan’s agents into one reusable video editing workflow that runs on any new project from a single brief.
What a video editing workflow is in Kaviyan
A workflow is an ordered chain of agents with your settings attached. A typical one reads like this: Cut builds a 30 second rough cut, Hue applies the brand look, Echo mixes the music under the dialogue, Flow adds captions and the end card, and the result is exported in three aspect ratios. Each step hands its timeline to the next, so nothing is exported or rebuilt in between.
Workflows run inside the editing software you already use, through Editor Sync. The output is a normal timeline, and every cut, grade and effect on it stays editable.
What is new in this release
Saved workflows. Build a chain once, name it and reuse it on any project.
Review steps. Pause the chain after any agent, check the result and continue.
Team sharing. Publish a workflow to your workspace so every editor starts from the same chain.
Batch runs. Point one workflow at a folder of footage and get a draft for each clip.
Export sets. Attach formats to a workflow: MP4, MOV, ProRes, GIF, PNG sequences or stills, up to 4K at 60fps.
How to build your first workflow
Open a finished project that you are happy with.
Choose Save as workflow. Kaviyan lists the agents you used, in order, with their settings.
Remove what was specific to that project, and add a review step wherever you want to check the work.
Name the workflow and share it with your team.
Run it on the next project: drop in the footage and write one sentence about the video.
The first run takes about as long as briefing each agent yourself. The saving starts with the second project.
An example workflow for a weekly series
A team that publishes one episode a week might save a chain called Weekly Social. Cut assembles a 45 second edit from the long recording and keeps the strongest opening line. A review step pauses the chain so an editor can approve the story. Hue then applies the series look, Echo levels the voices and brings the theme music in under the last line, and Flow adds the captions, the lower third and the end card. The export set delivers horizontal, square and vertical versions in one pass.
Who gets it
Workflows are included in the Studio and Scale plans and are live in every workspace on those plans. Free and Creator workspaces can still run the agents one after another by hand.
Why we built it
When we looked at how teams used the agents, one pattern kept returning. Editors ran the same four or five steps in the same order, with the same settings, and typed the same brief every time. Workflows turn that habit into something a team can save, share and improve.
Lena Hartmann, our founder, has one rule for every release: “Every tool we ship has to save an editor an hour, or it doesn’t ship.” Workflows apply that rule to the brief itself.
Next we are working on scheduled runs, so a workflow can start as soon as new footage arrives. Requests are welcome at viyako.designs@gmail.com.
